CANDIDA COMPLEX is a combination of probiotics, herbs, plants, and digestive enzymes that may assist the body with restoring or maintaining a healthy internal bacterial balance. An imbalance of our body’s healthy flora or beneficial bacteria can possibly lead to yeast overgrowth.

Yeasts are single-cell living organisms that live on the skin surface and inside the digestive tract of all living things. In a healthy body, small numbers of yeast are present and may assist to maintain a normal flora balance. However, if yeast overgrowth occurs it is possible that it may become harmful and can cause a variety of unpleasant symptoms.

Candida Albicans is the most prevalent type of yeast, typically found in our mucous membranes or in the small intestine. Our body’s immune system and the beneficial bacteria that live in the intestinal tract are designed to keep Candida or yeast under control. However, if our normal floral balance is disrupted and the number of yeast organisms in our intestinal tract increase due to possible causes such as medications we take, foods we eat or things we expose our bodies to, a flora imbalance may occur and our immune defenses could possibly be lowered.
